Monday- 1on1’s
1on1’s are personalized service meetings designed to connect members of our organization with our dedicated Community Health Workers (CHW). Each session offers an opportunity for members to share in-depth descriptions of their unique needs, concerns, and updates regarding their programs.
These weekly meetings serve as the foundation for our ongoing services, allowing CHW staff to better understand and address individual circumstances. By fostering a supportive environment, 1on1’s ensure that each member receives tailored assistance, guidance, and resources, paving the way for improved outcomes and enhanced well-being. These interactions are crucial as they help prioritize member needs and shape the subsequent services we offer.

Our meetings actively involve the affected community, including sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, and other relatives, creating a supportive space for open dialogue.
By bringing diverse family members together, we encourage collective problem-solving, enabling the community to devise its own solutions and pathways to healing. Ultimately, Family Violence seeks to facilitate a journey toward recovery, resilience, and healthier family dynamics.

Our meetings are designed to actively involve the affected community, encouraging participation from those directly impacted, including former gang members and victims.
By fostering a collaborative environment, we empower community members to share their stories and insights, facilitating collective problem-solving. Thursday- The Dialect/Community Violence
The Dialect: The Dialect Group is designed to help individuals take accountability for their lives by transforming rehabilitative or reformed thinking into actionable life plans, ensuring a future free from crime, gang involvement, and depression. This group encourages individuals to think deeply about their lives, creating a detailed roadmap that leads to a constructive, crime-free future.
What sets the Dialect Group apart is its emphasis on community involvement; individuals are supported by peers who guide them through this vital reform process. By fostering a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility, we empower participants to become productive members of the community rather than destructive ones. Through mutual support and accountability, the Dialect Group aims to cultivate a positive environment for personal growth, resilience, and community well-being. Together, we work toward building a brighter, more empowered future for all.
Community Violence: Community Violence is a peer-led group dedicated to addressing the health concerns arising from all facets of community violence and the dangerous lifestyles associated with it, as well as the effects on individuals who have been victimized. Unlike other groups focused on specific forms of violence—such as family, gang, or criminal violence—Community Violence encompasses all types of violence, regardless of their source.
Our meetings actively involve the affected community, providing a platform for individuals to share their experiences and insights. This collaborative approach empowers participants to collectively identify solutions and engage in their own healing processes. By fostering open dialogue and understanding, the Community Violence group aims to promote awareness, resilience, and safer environments for everyone. Together, we work towards creating a violence-free community and supporting those impacted by violence in their journey to recovery.
Fridays- Physical Education
Physical Education: Our Physical Education group is a peer-led initiative dedicated to enhancing physical health. We offer support through informative literature and engaging discussions on topics such as exercise, healthy eating habits, and holistic approaches to preventive care.
To further promote physical health, we organize weekly events centered around fitness, including walk-a-thons, athletic competitions, and physical education seminars. These activities not only foster community engagement but also encourage participants to embrace an active lifestyle. By combining education with practical experiences, we empower individuals to make informed health choices, cultivate well-being, and inspire one another in their journeys toward improved physical health. Together, we strive to create a supportive environment that prioritizes wellness and active living.
